March WIPocalypse

Okay so yes, I am late again!  I also didn't get a whole lot of stitching done this month.  But here is what I worked on.  Even though I'm not posting til March 30th this is only what I got done before the full moon on March 8th.  Anything else I worked on will wait til the April 6th posting.

So all I've really worked on is my Rebecca Wood April door needlepoint.  Here it is on days 4, 5, & 6

I also worked a bit on my Santa Needlepoint but I forgot to take a picture so I'll post it on my next update.  The cross stitch piece I'm supposed to be working on is Season of the Brook by Chatelaine but I haven't done anything on it.  I'll go ahead a post a pic of what I've done so far so you can see the difference since I will definitely pick it up between now and my next update.

I'm doing all 4 seasons on one piece of 32ct White Jobelan, so here is Spring and Summer complete

So the next full moon is April 6th, but since that's right smack in the middle of Holy Week, and I have to sing at a bunch of church services I probably won't get my next post up until after Easter, but it won't be anywhere near as late as this one.

February WIPocalypse

Okay so I am so late posting my February WIPocalypse update, but better later than never right.  This has been an absolutely crazy month, but I did get at least some stitching done.  First up is Chatelaine's Pompejian Garden.

I've also been working on Needlepoint for the last year or so.  The 1st piece I'm currently working on is the April Door from Rebecca Wood.

1st WIPocalypse post

Okay so I'm a little late posting my update for the January full moon, but I was having trouble getting my pictures from my new i-phone, to my computer, to my webpage, and then having them show up here.  (At least I hope the show up here.  I'm currently stitching on Chatelaine's Pompejian Garden Mandala.  It is stitched on 32ct Belfast in Wandering Ivy Expressions from Silkweavers.

Almost finished with the 30hr mark but not quite.  Now that I know what I'm doing my next post will be on time.

2012 Plans

So I've decided to sign up for WIPocalypse 2012 I don't have any special plans for it, I think I'm just going to stitch my current rotation which is huge, plus a few special extra pieces and just see where things go.  Hopefully posting my progress on a more regular basis and blogging about it will make things go a bit faster.  I just need to make sure I don't spend so much time blogging and reading other blogs that I have no time to stitch.

On top of this for 2012 I'm hoping to finally get my webpage up and running and to get all my stash organized.  So I will be busy.

My First Post

Okay, so new year new venture!!  I am going to try to blog.  Mostly I'll be talking about my artistic projects, but I'm sure some of my personal stuff (ie. health and fitness) will get in there too.  Hopefully I'll be fairly consistent with blogging.  I guess we'll see.

Here's hoping 2012 is better that 2011!
